When a meteor crashes in a museum of Pléistocène, rage of one partly frozen, 40.000 years of mammoth rages on a small city of campaign. Under orders to contain the threat which has the mammoth at all costs, the special agents Powers and Whitaker are given 17 hours to kill mammoths or the whole city will be decimated.
